To see our community transformed by the power of "grace upon grace" (John 1:16), where every person feels radically welcomed, deeply valued, and empowered for missional service.
We are a spiritual family, a sanctuary in the city, united in Christ and committed to reconciliation and putting our grace into action.
Our Core Beliefs
The Triune God: We believe in one God, who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and the ultimate source of all grace.
Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus is grace personified—the Son of God, our Savior, and our Lord. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again, offering salvation to all who believe.
The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is grace in action—dwelling in believers, guiding us into all truth, and empowering us to live holy lives and serve others.
The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, true, and authoritative Word of God. It is the complete story of God's redeeming grace and our guide for faith and life.
Salvation: We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our own works. It is a free gift, received when we turn from sin and trust in Jesus.
The Church: We believe the Church is the global community of grace, and a local church (like OGM) is a family of believers called to worship God, grow in faith, and share His grace with the world.

Our Blended Denominational Philosophy
(The "Blended" DNA) At Overwhelming Grace Ministries, we refuse to limit God to one box. We embrace a Blended Denominational Philosophy drawing on the strengths of different traditions to create a holistic spiritual home. We "eat the meat and spit out the bones," taking the best practices from each stream:
Structure (Methodist): We believe in strong organizational structure, bylaws, and "Safe Sanctuary" protocols. We are a church of order.
Freedom (Pentecostal): We embrace uninhibited worship, the prophetic, and a personal connection with the Holy Spirit. We are a church of fire.
Justice (The Black Church & Quakers): We are committed to social justice. We believe faith must be demonstrated through action that seeks equality and compassion for the marginalized.
Roots (Baptist): We honor deep-seated traditions and biblical values, grounding our faith in the final authority of Scripture.
Innovation (Non-Denominational): We value adaptability. We utilize modern technology (AI, Digital Ministry) and fresh approaches to connect with a changing world.
Missional Zeal (LDS/Mormon Inspiration): Like the Mormons, we are committed to proactive service, taking care of our own community, and the discipline of "going out" rather than just "coming in."
Evangelism (Jehovah’s Witness Inspiration): We admire and adopt their passion for person-to-person evangelism. We are not ashamed to share the Good News directly with our neighbors.
